During my internship at Baise Gaba, I took on the role of Head Designer for this collection, which reintroduces the distinctive fabrics and prints from the experimental Malasa line. The project focused on transforming these materials into commercially viable festive wear by simplifying silhouettes, reducing detailing, and streamlining production to improve efficiency and lower costs. With an emphasis on elegant, versatile designs that highlight Malasa’s unique textures and prints, the collection caters to fashion-conscious consumers seeking stylish yet affordable festive attire honoring the essence of Malasa while ensuring practicality and accessibility.
